Instruction 2: Mist/Parity Wallet

Step 1. Installing the application

Please make sure that you have the latest version of Mist, Parity or Ethereum wallet installed on your PC.

Step **2. Launching the application **

Mist/Parity

After installing Mist / Parity, you must start the application and synchronize it with the blockchain. The process starts automatically, but it can take quite a while to complete (usually around 5-6 hours).

If you want to participate in the ICO, you should begin synchronizing the blockchain as early as possible - preferably a day or two before the ICO, in order to avoid all sorts of problems at an early stage.

Important**: **Synchronization must be conducted using mainnet, not testnet!

Parity

In order to launch the GUI, open your browser and enter http://127.0.0.1:8080/home in the address bar. Then, choose ‘Ethereum Wallet’

Step 3. Creation of a new account (optional)

If you want to use the new Ethereum account, you must create it first. The following procedure will create a pair of keys for you - public and private (stored as a JSON file on your computer), along with your password for the private key.

  1. Press the "Add Account" button

2) Make a password ( the more complex the better)

image alt text

You’ll have to reload the app to see your new account.

Important: It is extremely necessary to remember where you store the keystore.json file, because without it you can say goodbye to your wallet. The best strategy would be to copy the password to two USB sticks and to your PC (with a secure environment). Please remember that saving this data is your responsibility and no one can help you if you lose your private key and / or password.

At the top of the overview screen of your wallet, you can see data related to the status of synchronization of your node. If node synchronization has stopped (for example, zero peers or block number remains static), restart the Wallet application or wait until the synchronization process continues.

Under Accounts, you can see the number of accounts and the balance of each account's ether.

Select 'MAIN ACCOUNT'. The line below the name of your account is the address of your account. It starts with 0x.

Step 4. Check the crowdfunding company address

Visit the official website of the crowdfunding company at the appointed start time and check if the address is available. Double check that it is correct.

Attention! Only use the address provided by the official ICO website. Do not use addresses provided to you by other users, as this is basically sending your money to thieves.

Step 5. Sending ETH

If your wallet is empty and you’d like to deposit funds into it - you can use any verified exchange that is comfortable for you. These services allow you to buy ETH using USD, EUR, etc. Take note, a part of ETH will be used to pay for gas.

When the campaign starts, you can take part in it by sending ETH to the ICO address.

You must be authorized within the app to do the following:

  1. Go to the SEND tab.

Select your ETH address or import the existing ETH address into your wallet.

  1. Enter the ETH address of your smart contract in the 'TO' field.
Important! Only use the address provided by the official ICO website. Do not use addresses provided to you by other users, as this is basically sending your money to thieves.

  2. Select the amount of ether that you would like to send.

image alt text

2) Important: When filling out the ‘Send Transaction’ field, change the ‘Provide maximum fee’ to the amount of gas that is specified in ICO/smart contract/other type of deal. Should you specify an amount less than that, your transaction may not go through or will go through much later!
