Sending Bitcoin via BitPay

Important: If you already have BitPay, just authorize and download the client. Otherwise, follow steps 1 and 2.

Step 1. Installing BitPay

  1. Go to the https://bitpay.com/ website and press ‘Sign up’ in the top part of the website

  2. A form will appear, choose the ‘Get a BitCoin Wallet’ option

  1. Pick and download the version you need. The PC version will be used for this example.

4) Pick the installation directory and let the installation finish.

Step 2. Creating a wallet and a backup copy in BitPay (optional)

After you launch the application you will be offered the option to create a wallet.

After that, you will be offered a number of options, among which there is the backup option. If you want to secure your wallet, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with these options.

A mnemonic phrase will be generated, write down the words in the exact order they are shown.

Going further, it will be necessary to arrange the words in the same order as before

Click ‘Confirm’. If done correctly, this form of access to the wallet can be used in the future to gain access to the wallet and information about the balance.

Step 3. Sending funds

Before sending any funds you need to make sure you have enough in your wallet.

If you have enough, then:

  • Go to the "Send" tab

  • Enter the BTC address which you will be sending the funds to. Press the blue arrow to go to the transaction confirmation form.

IMPORTANT:****Make sure you filled in the correct amount, commission and address and picked the correct wallet. It’s individual and is provided by ICO representatives. In order for the transaction to complete, you need to use a separate address for sending BTC.

Sending cryptocurrency to a wrong address will lead to a loss of funds!

By pressing ‘Send’, you confirm creation of the transaction.

Step 3. Checking transactions

In order to check on your transactions choose the "Overview" tab at the bottom of the page. You can see recent transactions soon after paying them out.

In order to see the transactions for a particular wallet, pick the wallet on the corresponding tab.

Then you can see all your transactions on the screen.

You can enter the transaction ID into the search bar onhttps://blockexplorer.com/and get information about the transaction
